North Central Elbert County Fire Department is raising funds to go towards a new fire truck. This truck will enable our volunteer firefighters to fight structure fires (i.e. homes, barns, etc.). Currently, we do not have the truck or the training to do so. The truck we’re hoping to purchase through grants and donations also provides training to our firefighters.

DATE: Saturday, October 26 at 6pm.

WHAT: Bring a pot of your best homemade chili to compete or just come to eat!! The NCEC Auxiliary will provide garlic toast and drinks.

WHERE: NCEC Fire House (40144 Ridge Road, Deer Trail)

COST: The cost is $10.00 per family at the door, and if you bring chili for the contest, the cost is $5.00 per family.

**Awesome prizes for the winners!!!**

Come and see if you have what it takes to make the best chili in town or just eat the best chili in town, all while helping NCEC raise funds for our new fire truck!
