EMS

NCFPD currently has one volunteer certified as an EMT. This allows us to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services to our residents. For more serious medical situations or injuries we rely on neighboring departments who have Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedics on staff. Since North Central is well over an hour drive time away from the nearest hospital critical situations require relying on Air Life if weather conditions allow them to fly.
